If you’re a fan of Sergio Leone’s classic spaghetti westerns, you’ll love this. The Campagnas truly understand that it takes time to build the mood of a film and to engage the audience, make them care about the characters and their stories. Watching this film felt like someone had discovered Sergio’s lost vault, and inside was this last gift to us. I’ve never seen another filmmaker capture the style of cinematography, music and mood of a Leone film like the Campagnas have. Even more impressive is that they did it on a budget of $12,000, which just goes to show you that money is no substitute for passion.
